Parkdean Resorts Project

Parkdean Resorts is a holiday park operator in the United Kingdom. The client came to us by recommendation from Simon-Kucher & Partners, with whom we had already had several successful projects finished.

Project Overview

The client needed an ERP system that would cover their business needs for property management and smoothly transit from their existing excel systems, which already had up to 200k units. The main challenge of the project was the desired performance both on SQL level and ElasticSearch, as well as smooth and streamlined interaction between these two layers. Another ordeal was to support the workload of up to 80 simultaneous users.

Result

Before rolling out to live, we warned the client that we may expect several synchronization issues in the early phases. For that, we planned a training session which lasted two weeks, and our concerns appeared to be true. Luckily, during the training session, we had resolved all the issues and change requests from Parkdean's managers, and up until now, the project has been successfully working for 1.5 years.
